Shimpo LED Stroboscope series is devised by Nidec-Shimpo to measure revolutions, velocity and frequency of rotating components or moving parts. The Shimpo LED Stroboscope series lay an important role in the study of stresses on machinery by measuring its motion, quality control and research. On stock, bright Shimpo LED Stroboscope are able to overpower ambient lighting and make stop-motion effects apparent without the need for dark ambient operating conditions.

Not limited to maintenance and quality control, the Shimpo LED Stroboscope series are also can used as a measuring instrument for determining cyclic speed. Shimpo LED Stroboscope series can be operated as a timing light of which are used in automotive industry to set the ignition timing and sequence on internal combustion engines with several pistons.
