Ilix 6651 is one of Ilix’s machine taps with reduced shank for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 13. Ilix 6651 taps are made of the finest HSS cobalt which produces higher toughness and hardness. It can perform blind hole borings very well. Ilix 6651 taps are applicable for non-ferrous materials with light to medium tensile strength, such as aluminium alloys, electrolytic copper, zinc alloys, and soft plastics.
