Ilix 6648 is one of Ilix’s short machine taps for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 13. Ilix 6648 taps are made of the finest HSS cobalt which produces higher toughness and hardness. It can perform blind hole borings very well. Ilix 6648 taps are applicable for various materials, such as stainless steel, acid and heat resistant steels and other material difficult to machine (up to 1300N/mm2tensile strength).
