Ilix 6770 is one of Ilix’s machine taps with reinforced shank for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 13. Ilix 6770 taps are made of the finest tungsten carbide which produces higher toughness and hardness. In addition, it is available with TiCN coating which gives higher tenacity and wear resistance to the tool. It can perform blind as well as through hole borings. Ilix 6770 taps are applicable for hardened steel (up to 62 HRC) and cast iron.
